We’ll admit, we couldn’t find anything really engaging to write about the 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Rental. When all the company can come up with is a redesigned rear armrest — with more storage! — we’re not going to jump for joy. That’s not to say there was much wrong with the 2007 version, we just had to put something in the headline.

The 2008 Range Rover rental will also get four-zone climate control, which is a significant addition. There are also more interior wood grains to choose from, a new interior color called Storm and two new exterior colors, Alaska White and Lucerne Green. Last year saw the addition of a 272-horsepower (and 472-lb-ft of torque), 3.6-liter turbodiesel V-8 to the options list for the plush Land Rover Range Rover Rentals. The updates for the 2008 model are less substantial, but they do play their own part in climate change - mostly inside the capable sport-utility vehicle.


Inside the Range Rover, passengers now enjoy four-zone air conditioning. Rear-seat passengers now can control their own air temperatures and vents. Along with this system, Land Rover has added infrared-deflecting glass at the windshield and sides, so that the amount of heat transmitted into the vehicle is reduced. Land Rover says this allows the Range Rover Rentals to cool more quickly and more effectively.


Other changes to the substantial SUV Rentals include more stow space inside, and additional leather trim on the climate controls and the center console. Clients can now choose from seven woods to trim their Rovers - all from sustainable forests, the company notes - and a wooden gearshift knob now is available.

The list of changes for 2008 is headed by the introduction of four-zone air conditioning, which enables rear seat passengers to control their individual heating and ventilation. This is neatly complemented with 'climate control' windscreen and side glass which is now available in conjunction with automatic rain and headlight sensing. The special glass cuts infra red heat transmission into the vehicle, reducing heat build up when the vehicle is parked in the sun, for example, so allowing the air conditioning to function faster and more effectively on drive away.

A redesigned rear seat armrest provides extra stowage space (including a dedicated location for the optional rear seat entertainment remote control) and there is additional leather trim on the heating and ventilation unit and centre console. There are now a total of seven real wood veneers to choose from, all sourced from sustainable forests, and additional wood veneer elements have been applied to the rear of the centre console. A matching wooden gear knob has also been introduced on some models.

The attention to detail extends to new tread-plates and revised graphics on the touch-screen and instruments. A new interior color becomes available, called Storm, as well as two new exterior colors, Alaska White and Lucerne Green, and a fresh set of "designers' choices" for recommended interior and exterior combinations.

Prices for the Range Rover For Rent Rent a Land Rover Off Road SUV Luxury SUV Rentals for 2008 now start from £55,100 for the TDV8 HSE and rise to £74,900 for the V8 Vogue Supercharged SE.
