Decorate your life

We may not all have the money to bring home a creation from Tiffany & Company; however, at the Queens Museum of Art we can decorate our hearts with the spectacular pieces on display. View many of Louis Comfort Tiffany's early creations. This decorative artist is famous for jewelry, fine silver, and other handcrafted pieces. Some of the most stunning pieces on display at the museum are Tiffany's glass lamps and windows. The beauty of these items is worth the price of admission alone. This amazing collection is on permanent display at the Queens Museum of Art. When you travel with NYC car rental, experience the Tiffany masterpieces and decorate your life at the Queens Museum of Art.

How it all began

When the world came calling, the city needed to roll out the red carpet. When the 1939 Word's Fair was scheduled to occur in Flushing Meadows, New York City's leaders called on master builder Robert Moss to construct the building now known as the Queens Museum of Art. Originally housing the United Nations General Assembly and later the New York City exhibit at the 1964 World's Fair, the Queens Museum of Art was opened soon after these events. With further expansion planned, the Queens Museum of Art will be a top destination for years to come. On your next NYC car rental vacation, take a walk through the history of New York City at the Queens Museum of Art.
